Thursday Time Trial

It’s a family orientated event, so bring the little ones too.  There is something to keep everyone entertained.  Summer evenings are a special treat; get out of the house, get the kids off the iPads and come join in the fun. 

Visitors, walkers, social and elite runners gather at the Randburg Club House every Thursday evening at 17h30 for the weekly time trial. There is a 5 km and an 8 km route, 

The route is flat and fast, with the 8 km being a second lap – less one block.  All participation is at own risk and runners should wear white shirts and in winter, reflective belts as well.  Please be careful and courteous in the traffic.

For some this is an opportunity to measure their running progress, but for many it is an opportunity to exercise in the safety of numbers.  For all it is a social experience with cold beers playing an integral part afterwards.
