Old Favourites Remain the Best Choice!
Many runners at this time of year are looking for an ideal marathon qualifier for the upcoming ultra-marathons, and the Edenvale Marathon is one of the best! Celebrating its 25th edition in 2019, the race takes place at 6am on Sunday 10 March, and provides Two Oceans and Comrades hopefuls alike with the perfect opportunity to get in those qualifying times on a route that prepares you for the big ultra’s. But entries are flying out the door for this ever-popular event, so click the button below and enter now!

A Race for Everyone!
If the idea of a marathon is a bit far for your legs, the event also offers half marathon, 10km as well as 5km distances, so you have options, but if you are looking to punch that qualifier card, another reason to do the Edenvale Marathon is mat-to-mat timing, meaning your time only starts when you cross those start mats! Also, your mat-to-mat time is automatically sent in to the Comrades Marathon Association database as a qualifier, so the only thing you need to do is make sure that your ChampionChip is snug as a bug on your shoe!
The race finishes at the Edenvale High School grounds in Linksfield Avenue, Edenvale, with the start being just outside the school. It is easily accesible with plenty of parking, and the event offers a fun day from start to finish for the whole family.
All proceeds of the 5km fun run will be donated to the Kidneybeanz Trust, a non-profit organisation that supports children with life-threatening kidney disease. The organisation works with the whole family, providing much-needed financial and emotional support.
Entries for all distances officially close on 28 February 2019, or earlier if our entry-cap is reached, so enter today to avoid missing out! |
